Michael is one of the Founders of Emeritus Wealth Management, a practice that he started in partnership with Kevin Millard in 2021. Michael has been providing financial advice and retirement planning as a Wealth Management Advisor since 2002; ensuring his clients and their families meet their financial goals.

Michael is a proud graduate of University of Michigan, where he received his Bachelor of the Arts degree in Economics. After graduating in 2002, he began his career at TIAA working in different client facing roles and positions with the goal of helping his clients achieve financial success. Ultimately, Michael was promoted to Senior Wealth Management Advisor, a title only given to TIAA’s top advisors.

Michael’s goal is to provide comprehensive financial advice and planning for the families that he is honored to serve. He understands the complexities of making investment decisions and the emotions behind that process. Michael also focuses on generational planning as he understands the importance of not just helping his clients but also the children of his clients as they prepare for the financial challenges that lay ahead of them as well.

Michael is married and he enjoys spending time with his wife and their family dog Dillon. He loves to travel and see the world and he stays as active as possible.
