Erik realized he had a passion for investing and financial planning over 30 years ago. His father, a successful investor and entrepreneur, was influential at a young age by teaching Erik financial concepts and investment strategies when he was just 15 years old. Erik’s understanding of the capital markets and the investment process created a desire to share his knowledge with others. He continues to pursue his passion and build upon it. Erik has worked with well-known financial firms, including U.S. Bank, TD Ameritrade, and a 12+ year tenure with Financial Engines (formerly The Mutual Fund Store). Erik co-founded Century Wealth Partners (CWP) in January 2019 as a boutique, comprehensive, client-focused firm. CWP views clients as people, not profit centers, or commission opportunities. He has been a strong advocate for fiduciary advice, where the client’s best interest is paramount. Erik now has the flexibility to do what makes sense for his clients and in the way they deserve. He understands every person has a unique set of circumstances, and he loves developing personal financial solutions and executing them. Erik is a graduate of Kent State University, with a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Finance. In addition, he earned and currently holds the following designations: Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC®) offered by the College for Financial Planning, and Certified Fund Specialist (CFS®) offered by the Institute of Business and Finance. Erik also held series 7, 63, 66, and 52 licenses administered by FINRA, from 1997-2006. A resident of Avon, Ohio with his wife Lori and their two children, daughter Chloe (14) and son Blake (8). Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with family & friends as well as coaching, volunteering, reading, and traveling.
